An absolutely gorgeous mid-century (late 1960s, I think) wooden trivet with two beautiful handmade tiles by studio potter Alan Wallwork.
The tiles have some crackling to the glaze (apparently v common in this style of tile) and are slightly marked and scratched. The board has a crack/split at one end. Still a wonderful vintage piece!
Approx 20 x 45.5 cm. Each tile is 6 inches square.
